What to expect dating Guyanese?

What can I expect dating my Guyanese boyfriend? He's amazing, but gets a little possessive and is somewhat indirectly controlling sometimes...I love him very much though. And he gets territorial taking PDA to a whole other level...especially when there are other guys around. Anyone know what I should expect? I'm still learning about the culture. Thanks!!
