How to style my frizzy hair ?

i have short hair till my neck and they are very frizzy. they are not hard but smooth to touch.my hair is beautiful and i have big curls at the end of my hair. my hair colour is a mix of light brown and black. i want to grow my hair bt can't cause my mother doesn't allow me. and i respect my mother's orders.i don't have any problem with my hair, bt don't know how to carry them in parties. i'm 5'4" tall and 59 kgs.plz suggest some good ,quick and nice hairstyles that would suit my body. i know im a bit overweight. i would prefer if you all give me names of some website.thanks
