Recruiters, MEPS liasons please help, or anyone else with exp. in switching DEPs?

A week ago, my marine recruiters sent up paperwork to MEPS to get my physical and asvab from the navy. One day later, it came back saying that I was still in Navy DEP. I then went to my navy recruiters and got a typed, signed paper saying that I was out of the navy dep, and no longer had obligations with them. two days ago my marine recruiter sent that letter up to MEPs to get the paperwork and since have not recieved anything back. Does this meen that it has gone through and can now process and sign a contract with the marines? Is there any other reason for this?
