Why don't black glampires sparkle?

In the new trailer for Twilight: New moon, a scene is clearly shown with a black glampire in the sun going after Bella. But the trademark disco-ball feel of said glampire seems to be missing. Why is this? Is it the same will all black glampires? All non white Glampires? What happens when a latina sparklepire steps in the sun? An Asian?
