Who are some other artists similar to Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, and Peggy Lee?

I'm having trouble finding artists I like from the earlier to mid 1900's, and could really use some help! I'd really love some good big band, swing, and jazz ensemble suggestions as well. Please and thanks.
