Is stephen colbert really on vicodin on his show?

He's acting all Nicole Richie ever since his wrist injury (which was a hilarious beyonce parody btw), but is he acting, or is really licking crushed up vicodin off his desk and lighting on fire in a crack spoon to melt and then put in his coffee?
